Lyrics

Is There Another Way?
by Greg Englesson

I know just how you feel
it seems sometimes these wounds will never heal
In times such as these... we yearn to be free
we look to no where and know thats where to be
drive fast from here.... race until the end
to drive from there, tell me where you’ve been
down by the river flowing endlessly
the bridge with all it’s cars, washed into the sea

Is there another way
in another day
who can really say
only those who may

Now I sit by the edge of the sea of time
the moon is so full, blue beaming sublime
a jet screams through my head and I know not where I am
rise up and walk away, run into all of them
they bitch and they moan and they want not what they’ve sown
but keep to forge ahead, until they go to bed
they dream of nothing new but dig a grave for me and you
the seeds scatter in the wind that grows from deep within

Is there another way
in another day
who can really say
only those who may

The blight upon the land must go hand in hand
with the rains that gently bath the flat and rolling plaines
and man with all he needs wants more than he can bleed
so suffer that we will until we’ve had our fill
the change is coming soon, such life grows out of ruin
in time we’ll seize the rains and dance to ease the pain
let go of what we know and let it flow, as we let go
sun sets at sun rise as we die to live our lives
